Hanging Lake
Hanging Lake is a lake that actually juts out of a huge travertine cliff. Hanging Lake hangs 1,000 feet up from the bottom of Glenwood Canyon up through Dead Horse Creek Canyon about 150 crooked miles west of the mile high city of Denver, Colorado. Hanging Lake is a U.S. national treasure and protected by the National Forest Service. Its waters are a deep turquoise color. More Lake Information
